Cozumel's Beachs

San Francisco
It is located on the south coast, 14 km from the town of San Miguel. Here you can enjoy a classic Caribbean beach of fine white sand and gentle swell. This is the point of stopover for glass-bottomed boats along the coast, from which you can appreciate the large reef banks.

San Juan
It is located in the north hotel zone, 5 km from the centre of the island. From white sand and calm waves, this beach is ideal for activities on land, such as horseback riding, playing tennis and hiking.

Encantada
It is located at the southern tip of the island, near Punta Celarain, that with its lighthouse dominates the whole place with an indescribable view of Playa Encantada. The archaeological site “El Caracol”  is 4 km from here, probably a Mayan observatory, where the ancient Mayas could predict the arrival of hurricanes or storms.

Santa Maria
It is located south of Chankanaab Lagoon, 25 km from the town of San Miguel. It is a large share of land shaded by palm trees, where surely you will enjoy a quiet day of relaxation because the place is far from the bustle.

Bonita
It is located on the premises of Rancho Ixpalbarco near Laguna de Colombia, on the east coast of the island. This exclusive private beach is inaccessible and its great lonely cove invites to spend  a nice day in absolute peace far from the populated area.

Hernan
It is located near the Tourist Parador de San Gervasio. This beach is protected by two tiny islets and The Royal Castle, the largest pre-Hispanic construction of the island.

Isla de la Pasion
It is located north of San Miguel. It is a small and peaceful island with beautiful beaches where birds abound and that continually turtles and crocodiles come to take refuge in its estuaries. It is accessible for small boats, although you can also get there by land across from the beach opposite the island.
